The Beaters Restaurant

High quality food-the way it used to be. Traditional country cooking featuring many old favourites is complimented by modern cuisine created by co-owner and Culinary World Cup Medal winner, Richard Punshon.

All meals are provided to the highest standard using fresh seasonal ingredients. Local produce is used whenever possible, with seasonal game being a speciality.

Offering more formal dining, the restaurant provides an atmosphere perfect for entertaining friends and family. The restaurant can be booked for private dining where individual menu requirements can be provided for. The restaurant can also be used for corporate business meetings.

Booking is advisable as the restaurant is very busy at weekends. 

We are now selling our own pork dishes procured from our stock of rare breed pigs.  From the end of February we will be able to offer a selection of our homemade cheeses.  From August we will be selling our homemade jams, marmalades and chutneys that we provide on our menus due to requests from customers.
